Professional Areas of Interest – As a family medicine provider I have experience working with all ages from newborns to geriatric patients. I work closely with every patient to prioritize their goals and empower them to make informed decisions about their own health.  From well child checks and sports physicals, to wellness visits for adults and geriatric patients, to patients with multiple complex chronic medical conditions, I work hard to keep my patients healthy and active.  Although I am no longer delivering babies in the hospital I have a passion for all aspects of women’s health and love to take care of moms and their newborns as well as the entire family. I also provide a wide range of women’s healthcare and have experience working with immigrants and refugees, patients with mental health concerns, and gender-affirming hormone therapy for LGBTQ+. No matter their age or background every patient deserves a primary care provider who advocates for them and is dedicated to providing them with the highest quality of medical care.

Personal Information – I attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine and completed residency training at MU Hospital in Columbia, MO.  Although new to the Lee’s Summit area, my husband John and I are quickly falling in love with the community. We enjoy meeting new people, traveling, learning about other cultures, hiking, museums, art, music.
